Nokia have been in the cell phone market for a long time now. I can remember back to the times where the Nokia 3310 was the latest rage. Times have changed since then, and here is one of Nokia’s latest creations, the N96.

The first thing to take a look at is the screen. The size of it isn’t bad at all, a 2.8 inch display. Of course it’s not up to the size of other phones in the market such as the iPhone, but it does the job. It displays 16 million colours too, a decent standard in this industry.
Second of all, the phone is surprisingly light – Only 128 grams in weight. This makes it much easier to carry around in your pocket or in your hand. Very nice to hold. The iPhone 3GS currently weighs at 135 grams, so the Nokia N96 is slightly lighter.
Next, onto the camera. It has a 5 megapixel camera. This is really good for a cell phone, you don’t find many phones that have this sort of feature. If you’re out somewhere and need to take a photo, you can be sure that you’ll get a great quality photo in the end. It has a secondary camera on the front of the phone which is used for video calling. The iPhone currently only has one camera which sits on the back of the phone, which is really frustrating if you wanted to, for example, take a photo of yourself.
Surprisingly, the phone has an internal memory capacity of 16GB. This is extremely large for an average phone, most people have around 64MB of memory and have to expand it through the use of SD cards or Micro SD cards. You won’t need to do this with the Nokia N96. This is a great feature which is helpful for everyone, because you can store a much greater amount of files.
The ability to support 3G networking was also a great idea from Nokia. As Apple first released the idea in their iPhone 3G, a lot of phones are now copying the idea. Nokia have done the same. You’ll enjoy quick internet browsing from most places that have a 3G connection.
In conclusion, if you’re looking for a great quality phone for a decent price, you should purchase the Nokia N96.
